DHUMA Submission to UN Special Rappoteur on Rights of Indigenous Peoples 2020

In conjunction with the Bishop of the Juli, Peru Prelature, Ciro Quispe López, the Civil Association for Human Rights and the Environment (DHUMA) submitted a document to the UN Special Rappoteru on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples in June 2020. The document focuses on the experiences of discrimination, excusion, and racism of the Aymara, Quechua, and all Indigenous peoples in Peru, which are exacerbated by the mining industry and the coronavirus pandemic. Sr. Patricia Ryan, MM, serves as president of DHUMA.
