Election day in the United States is 27 days away, with early voting already underway in several states. The elections will have broad implications worldwide due in no small part to the United States' leading role in controlling the debt held by developing nations. Pope Francis has declared 2025 to be a jubilee year, with a focus on debt relief. Susan Gunn, director of the Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns, will be leading the webinar Debt Relief in a Jubilee Year to share how elected officials up and down the ballot can contribute to a more just economy.
Today's webinar at 6pm ET is on the faithful stewardship of creation. The recording of last week's webinar, Peace, War, and Human Rights is available on our website. It is still possible to register to vote in most states. Verify your registration at vote.gov.
