MOGC joins more than 60 ecumenical organizations and communions to oppose the Iran War supplemental funding.

In a unified voice of sorrow and hope, the Maryknoll family calls on the leaders of the United States, Israel, and Iran to move beyond the cycle of violence and commit to the urgent task of diplomacy and peace.

On March 11, more than 50 peace, religious, and civil liberties
organizations issued a joint statement opposing the “automatic”
registration of individuals for a possible military draft and supporting
the Selective Service Repeal Act to end planning and preparation for a
draft. This is the the broadest and most diverse anti-draft coalition to
come together in years.
The Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns joins FCNL and other partners in issuing a faith-based statement opposing additional violent aggression towards Iran.
Escalating tensions between Iran and the United States have raised the prospect of a military conflict. The Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns and 61 organizations sent the following letter to Congress on May 21, 2019.
