Webinar: Human Rights Day

The National Religious Campaign Against Torture (NRCAT) will host a special webinar marking Human Rights Day on December 10. Professor Juan Mendez, UN Special Rapporteur on Torture, and Dr. Rebecca Gordon, author of Mainstreaming Torture: Ethical Approaches in the Post-9/11 United States will bring us up to date on the current issues faced by anti-torture activists, and what we can do as people of faith. Rev. Ron Stief, NRCAT’s Executive Director, will serve as moderator. There will be time for participants to ask questions of the speakers.
