People’s Climate March

World leaders will gather in New York City in September for a major meeting, sponsored by the UN, on climate change.

On September 21, 2014, 350.org and other groups working for environmental justice will host what they expect to be the biggest march on climate change ever, to be held in New York City.

Additionally, the World Council of Churches will hold an Interfaith Summit on Climate Change during that time — organized together with Religions for Peace, more than 30 religious leaders will take a united stand to encourage international and political leaders to address concretely the causes and consequences of climate change.
