One day fast to close the SOA
Fasting has been present in all the world’s spiritual traditions. Fasts help individuals or groups deepen their commitment, and have often been used as an effective nonviolent tool for achieving social change. SOA Watch is calling on human rights activists to engage in a one-day fast on Tuesday, Oct. 30, to close the School of the Americas/WHINSEC, in the lead-up to the November vigil at the gates of Ft. Benning, GA.
