Cathonomics: A Conversation with Anthony M. Annett

Can Catholic social thought provide the basis for a more just economic paradigm? How can failures of the neoliberal economic order like skyrocketing inequality and increasing economic fragility be rectified?

In Cathonomics: How Catholic Tradition Can Create a More Just Economy (2022), Anthony M. Annett makes a persuasive case for a new framework for thinking about the global economy using the principles of Catholic social thought.

When: March 17, 12-1pm ET

He will be joined by Berkley Center Senior Research Fellow E.J. Dionne, Christine Firer Hinze of Fordham University, and Kate Ward of Marquette University. Amy Uelmen, a Berkley Center senior research fellow, will moderate the conversation.
