January 11, 2013: Rally, march and interfaith service to close Guantánamo
11th anniversary of an immoral and sad legacy
Noon: Gather in front of the Supreme Court, (1st Street and Maryland Avenue, NE) for the rally and march to the White House.
2:30 p.m.: Interfaith prayer service to close Guantánamo with an analysis of the current challenges and opportunities for closing Guantánamo at New York Ave Presbyterian Church (1313 New York Avenue, NW) immediately following the march.
ALSO: Witness Against Torture will hold a week of action in Washington, DC, January 6-12, to demand the closure of Guantánamo.
