40th Anniversary of the Four Churchwomen's Deaths

December 2, 2020 will mark the 40th anniversary of the murders of the four U.S. Churchwomen in El Salvador. 

Various groups are offering materials and hosting events to honor this anniversary: 

• The Maryknoll Sisters will be hosting a virtual gathering in the evening on December 2 from 7-8:30 p.m. EST. Click here to join the webinar on December 2 (no registration required). You can explore the Maryknoll Sisters' website for more information on the anniversary. 
• The Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) and the SHARE Foundation offer events and resources here, including a toolkit for organizing local events. 
• "The Four Martyred Churchwomen: Allies in Today's Struggle for Justice," a free, virtual event hosted by Fordham University, featuring biographers of the four churchwomen, Wednesday, December 2, 6 p.m. EST. Email cacs@fordham.edu to register.
