While Secretary of State Rubio issued an exemption for lifesaving humanitarian assistance, that has still not allowed for any assistance or funding to resume. Everything has stopped.

As a person of faith, I ask that you ensure that emergency relief and critical international assistance programs can continue operations while they are in review. While I appreciate that Secretary of State Rubio issued an exception for lifesaving humanitarian assistance, organizations are currently not able to access money to implement lifesaving programs. This cannot stand. 

I urge you to reverse the course of the administration's foreign aid freeze.
