Tell Senate “Vote YES on Amendment #1030”

Call you Senator now for the imminent vote on the proposed amendment #1030 to the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 led by Senator Sanders.

The amendment would cut 10% ($88.6 billion) from the bloated Pentagon base budget in order to reinvest in severely underfunded human needs priorities. This amendment would not affect spending on Ukraine, which is funded through supplemental appropriations, or on pay and housing for the troops, who are specifically excluded from cuts by the terms of the amendment.

Tell your Senators: “I urge you to vote in support of the 10% cut Pentagon budget cut amendment when it is voted on by the Senate this afternoon.”
