Now is the time to raise your voice to protect creation. Tell the EPA not to end greenhouse gas regulations.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is trying to rescind the “Endangerment Finding”—a key position that has protected public health for 16 years by providing the scientific and legal foundation for regulation of carbon emissions from vehicles and power plants. Its repeal would clear the way for the rollback of critical climate protections.

We recently invited you to send an email to the EPA opposing this change. You can still submit your comment online and see the thousands of comments other people have submitted.

Now we ask you to add your name to one big, Catholic comment to the EPA!

Add your name here. Our goal is to get 5,000 Catholics to sign on to this comment to the EPA by September 1.

Please join the Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns, the Catholic Climate Covenant, Franciscan Action Network and other U.S. Catholics, in asking the EPA to “do what is right and just – do not repeal the Endangerment Finding and do not strip away the life-saving greenhouse gas standards for cars and trucks.”

Archbishop Thomas Zinkula of Dubuque, Iowa, shared with us his comment to the EPA at a public hearing on Aug. 21. “Stewardship of the earth is not optional; it is a moral duty,” Archbishop Zinkula said.

We’re more than halfway to 5,000 signatures! Please add your name today.

Thank you!
