Power Hour, Support the Peace on the Korean Peninsula Act

Power Hour for Peace in Korea

Join us on December 11 at 2 pm ET to call upon your Representative to support H.R.1841, the Peace on the Korean Peninsula Act.

The Korean War never officially ended but was just suspended by an armistice agreement, leading to decades of an unresolved state of war. While active fighting has ceased, hostilities remain high, resulting in suffering and the extreme militarization of the Korean Peninsula.

Without a peace agreement, renewed conflict could break out at any time. War would be catastrophic, especially if nuclear weapons were used.

H.R. 1841 calls for a formal end to the Korean War, promotes peace negotiations, and proposes a review of travel restrictions.
