Join Jubilee Call to Turn Debt into Hope

Sign the petition to tell global leaders to “Turn Debt into Hope” — prioritize people and planet over profit.

The leaders of the three Maryknoll entities joined 120 global faith leaders in a letter delivered on February 26 to the G20 meeting of finance ministers and central bankers in Cape Town, South Africa. The letter called on the participants to champion a debt relief framework for the 3.3 billion people – nearly half the global population – who live in countries that spend more on debt payments than on life-saving health, education, or climate measures.
