2025 Human Rights Day
On December 10, we observe Human Rights Day, which celebrates the United Nations’ adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This ground-breaking document expresses the inalienable rights guaranteed to everyone, including the right to a standard of living adequate for health and well-being, freedom of movement, and the right to asylum. On this Human Rights Day, we turn towards the powerful avenues of prayer, study, and action to advocate for our fellow brothers and sisters’ rights, no matter their country of origin.
