Stop War in Iran
President Trump announced that a decision regarding military strikes against Iran will likely be made by the end of February. With a diplomatic deadline set for the end of the month, we are at a critical crossroads. Any attack would be a dangerous violation of international law and threat to global stability, and any military action without Congressional approval would also violate the Constitution.
For people of faith, this issue is not just political but moral. War risks countless lives, undermines the sacred call to peace and reconciliation, and challenges our communities to stand firmly for nonviolence, justice, and the dignity of every person by urging our leaders to choose diplomacy, upholding their constitutional and ethical responsibility.
Take Action: Tell Congress to stop a war with Iran
Our friends at the National Iranian American Council (NIAC) offer a tool to help you call and write your Members of Congress to ask them to co-sponsor the Iran War Powers Resolution and say no to any war in Iran.
