World leaders will gather in Glasgow, Scotland, October 31-November 12, 2021, for the Conference of Parties (COP26) of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
This global gathering is a momentous occasion for leaders to work on implementing the goals of the Paris climate agreement and setting the world on a path to avert the worst impacts of climate change. Nations will be required to submit updated national pledges of action and demonstrate progress according to their previous goals.
