The COVID-19 pandemic has reminded us of our global interconnectedness and the insecurity of our systems – or, in Pope Francis’ words, that we are “all in the same boat.” People already vulnerable or impoverished have been most affected by the crisis. On the issue of COVID-19, we work on fair and equitable global vaccine access, upholding human rights in countries managing the health impacts of COVID-19, food insecurity and economic breakdown related to lockdown measures, and much more.
