Please join us for the second mission forum of 2013 – we are honored to welcome Fr. Douglas May, MM, a Maryknoll missioner and the only U.S.-born Catholic priest serving in Egypt.
Fr. Doug will speak on his 18 years of experience as a Catholic missioner in Cairo – he will discuss the socio-political, interreligious and economic realities of Egypt, the current Israeli-Palestinian crisis, and more broadly about the Arab-Israeli issue in terms of U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East. We will gather at 7 p.m. – after Fr. Doug’s presentation we will have Q&A/conversation, followed by some time for socializing.
Space is limited – please respond and let us know if you plan to attend: ogc@maryknoll.org or call 202-832-1780. We appreciate firm responses; if you find you are unable to attend please let us know at your earliest opportunity.
