Prayer Vigil for Immigrants, May 14

For those near Washington, DC, we invite you to join us for our monthly prayer vigil in support of the immigrant community. All are welcome to attend this nonviolent public witness of love and welcome for immigrants. As people of faith, we reject the culture of fear and silence that dehumanizes, and we choose instead to stand with migrants.

On May 14, the feast of the Ascension of Jesus into Heaven, we’ll continue our monthly prayer vigils outside ICE headquarters in Washington DC. We pray for all affected by the government’s inhumane treatment of immigrants; we pray for justice, mercy, peace, and reconciliation.
